Individual Therapy
The effort it takes to keep certain feelings at bay – such as fear, sadness, guilt or shame – does not come without consequences. What finds no direct expression often seeks other ways to be felt, for example as inner restlessness, a sense of being driven, depressive moods, anxiety or physical symptoms. I do not understand these manifestations as disorders, but as signals that something essential wants to be seen and felt.
In individual therapy, I accompany you in giving space to these inner movements. Together, we approach what has been shaping – gently and without judgment. Experiences of attachment and loss, closeness and withdrawal can find their place here, as can experiences from different phases of life that continue to resonate in the present.
My work is experiential and systemic. Alongside conversation, emotions, bodily sensations and what may not yet have clear words are given space. Change does not arise through understanding alone, but through new experiences in the here and now, which gradually allow for greater inner flexibility and freedom of action.
Individual therapy can offer support in acute crises as well as in phases of exhaustion, disorientation or recurring patterns in inner experience and relationships. It is for people who wish to come closer to themselves, loosen entrenched inner processes and develop a more attuned way of relating to themselves and their lives.
